In the first Wisdom Story, "The Apple Tree And The Golden Apple", we learned that "True Happiness Comes From The Happiness Of Other", and "True Value Comes From Oneness With God".  Let us use this learning as the starting point for our Analysis.

If you have not yet read the “The First Wisdom Story,” Called “The Happy Apple Tree And The Golden Apple”, upon which this Analysis is based, or would like to read the first Wisdom Story again before reading this Analysis of it, please click HERE.  When you are done reading it, click on “Go To An Analysis of First Wisdom Story” at the bottom of the last page of the story to come back here.

2. Preparing For Spiritual Analysis

2-a. Make Our Mind Sit Down By Calling Our Wisdom
Go To “Top of Page"
Go To “The Outline

My dearest loving brothers and sister, to do this work properly we must first join with Wisdom, so our mind will sit down.  For as Bawa teaches us,

"The mind will only sit down when Wisdom stands us".

And we get Wisdom to stand up by simply calling it, and its name within us, for this age, this age of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (Ral.), is "Bawa".

And we get it to stay up, to stay standing within us, by tasking it with something that is worthy of Wisdom, something that Wisdom was created by God to do, like destroying the selfish self within us, and revealing the selfless self within us, revealing True Man within the Creation of God within us, within God within us, within God as the Oneness of God within the Creation of God within us.

So let us start by calling "Bawa" from the Secret Place within us, which Bawa calls our innermost heart or Qalb, by saying the word "Bawa", allowing Him to join us in our life of mind and desire, allowing our mind to sit down, and task Him with the following prayer, which Bawa told us to say everyday.

2-b. Destroy The Selfish Self By Saying “The Father's Prayer”

"

In this way, we destroy the self, the selfish self or outer self, that is hiding or covering the selfless self or inner self within us, by saying the following prayer, by saying "Our Father's Prayer", the prayer that Our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him) told us to say each day,

"Oh our Father, our Shaikh, our Guru, we need your love, Please, please,
please destroy us, and reveal You."

"Destroy us as separate from You and You as separate from us, and reveal us
as one with You and You as one with us."

"Destroy the life of separation and differences that You have given us, and reveal
the life of oneness and unity, the life of justice and truth, the life of compassion
and unity that You have also given us”.

Amen, Amen,Ya Rabil Alameen.  Amen, Amen, Ya Rahman Alameen.  Amen,
Amen, Ya Rahim Alameen.  Al-hamdu lillah.  Allahu Akbar."

2-c. Join His Holiness By Setting Our Intention To Live At His Feet
Go To “Top of Page
"
Go To “The Outline”

Next, let us set our intention to sit at the feet of our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), as He explains about the nature of man within God and of God within the wisdom within man.

As His Holiness teaches us about the nature of man, as the most exalted of all of the creations of God, and how that exaltedness within us starts and is first seen within us as the Oneness of God within the Creation of God within us, which is the seed of Iman or True man within us.

And is next revealed and seen within us as three within the One within us, as the Disciple, the Shaikh, and God within that Oneness of God within us, within the seed of Iman or True Man within us.

Coming to maturity within us as the Triple Flame of God within us - Ya Allah, Ya Rasul, Ya Muhaiyaddeen - as True Man within the Creation of God within us, as the Nur Muhammad within the Nur Muhammad within us, which is wisdom within wisdom within us, which is the seed of Islam or God within us, and which can only be revealed within us through the process of finding and joining in partnership with such a True Man, who reveals True Man within us by revealing God within us, a True Man which for this age is His Holiness, is our Father, Shaikh Muhammad Rahim Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him).

And as His Holiness teaches us about the nature of God, as the exaltedness within our exaltedness, as the exaltedness within True Man, as the wisdom within our wisdom, as the soul within our soul, as the heart within our heart, as the Power within the essence of everything, as the Dhat within the Sirr of the Sifat.

For as His Holiness teaches us,

"You will only find God within the exaltedness of your own life."

Amen. May God complete this intention within each of us.

In this way, we must always first join with His Holiness before we do anything, including an analysis of the teaching of His Holiness, for as His Holiness teaches us,

"You must use the life of your Shaikh, which is the wisdom or consciousness
of God within you, to analyze and understand the teaching of your Shaikh,
which is the teaching of God within you."

And as His Holiness teaches us that Jesus (A.S.) said to His disciples,

"If two of you come together in my name, I will be there".

Therefore, let us come together in the name of Bawa Muhaiyaddeen (may God be pleased with Him), and intend that Bawa be there in our hearts teaching us what we need to learn and understand for this moment, remembering not to do it alone, not to do it without our Shaikh.  Amen.  May God complete this intention within us.

2-d. Get Ready To Do Duty By Performing The Three Steps
Go To “Top of Page
"
Go To “The Outline

Similarly, His Holiness teaches us in the book, "The Golden Words of a Sufi Shaikh", on page 73, Number 225, "Understand The Treasure of Peace", that before we do
anything we must always do the following three things:

          1. "In every duty, give up the thought that you are doing it."
          2. "Instead, act with the thought that God must do it, and give Him the
               responsibility."
          3. "Then perform the duty."
